Maurine,

I am happy for you on your upcoming surgery. " Read the forum on " How is everybody doing" It's chalked full of recently banded folks and some banded folks from a couple of years.

You won't regret the surgery, although there are times when you question yourself for doing it. Once the weight starts dropping you will forget any bad experiences. Keep up your questions people will answer.

Let me know how your surgery went, I will keep you in my thoughts a prayers !

Maurine,

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!

What was the worst thing..... hmmmm... probably just the "unknown" probably thinking that I've tried every other weight loss program, diet, shake, drug known to mankind and it didn't work, so why would the band?

What was the best thing? I don't think I have enough time to write about it all :) - I feel soooo much better, and I feel so much better about myself. I have my self confidence back and basically am living life again after living in a huge cacoon for years. I really wasted so many years of my life, but am trying to make up for it now.
